Abstract:

By employing text analysis and grounded theory，30“party-building” cases are coded.On the basis of 11 open codes，2 first-level indicators and 4 second-level indicators of party identity are constructed. Furthermore，based on the case study，this paper provided several hypotheses to articulate the mechanisms through which party identity contributes to community mobilization. The hypotheses can be verified or falsified by quantitative empirical studies in the future.
