China’s development of child-friendly communities is still in its early stages，especially in urban villages where activity spaces for migrant children are lacking. Social work organizations play a crucial role in this process，with recognized expertise in community constructing, which can get involved the construction of child-friendly community. This study examines the “Xiaohe’s Home” project by X Social Work Station in Q Village as a case study，using Actor-Network Theory，highlights the translation logic in constructing child-friendly spaces and analyzes the challenges in the construction of child-friendly spaces within，between，and outside the actors involved. Recommendations are provided to guide social workers in constructing similar spaces in urban villages.
