Abstract:

Different writing types have different value orientations, comparing with“scientific”academic writing and“aesthetic” literary writing, applied writing takes“practical” as its value attribute；at the same time，seeking good rather than seeking truth and beauty as its highest goal. The good of applied writing is actually a kind of moral good，that is，the legitimacy and rationality of applied writing behavior and its related social behavior agreement with the truth，having good reasons， agreement with the law. It is as follows：in the relationship of value to the subject and object，the writing behavior of the subject should conform to the objective facts and the basic laws of people’s social practice activities. The subject should not only meet the legitimate psychological and emotional needs of the writing receptor，but also accord with the spirit and law in the profit of the writing receptor and the public. Finally，the good of applied writing is rationality of content and form.
