Abstract:
Scientific evaluation of the innovation efficiency of the producer service industry will help to objectively understand the current development status of producer services in various regions of China, so as to provide reasonable and appropriate guidance for the future development of the producer service industry. Therefore, under the premise of constructing an evaluation index system for evaluating the innovation efficiency of the producer service industry, using the BCC model of DEA and the Malmquist index model, from a regional perspective, China's 29 provincial administrative regions (except Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Xizang, Xinjiang) and the four major economic development regions of the producer service industry during 2013-2017, the static and dynamic evaluation of the level of innovation efficiency. The analysis results show that China's overall innovation efficiency has improved, but there is still a large gap in the innovation efficiency of the producer service industry between the four major regions. The eastern region has a higher innovation efficiency than the other three regions. Finally, based on the conclusion of empirical analysis, relevant countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve the innovation efficiency of the productive service industry.
