Improving Public Management Discipline Based on Methodology Teaching Research on the Path of Graduate Comprehensive Ability

摘要: 基于方法论的教学改革旨在提升公共管理学研究生的综合能力。以科学的方法论为指导,以大数据分析、实验教学体系为核心,从实验教学体系的建立、“立地”问题的解决、实验教学团队的建立三个路径进行教学改革。云南省某高校管理学院不断探索、改进教育模式,在教学、教研以及实训、实习培养方面都取得了明显成果:建设了一支专业、高效、学科交叉的教学团队;创建了“实验促教学、实验促科研、科研促教学,以实训和实习指导为抓手,提升学生创新能力和解决实际问题能力”的新模式;构建了“规范研究—案例与实证研究—实验研究—大数据研究”的方法论教学体系。

Abstract: Methodology-based teaching reform is aimed at improving the comprehensive ability of graduate students in public management disciplines. Guided by scientific methodology,with big data analysis and experimental teaching system as the core to improve teaching,we choose three paths from the establishment of experimental teaching system,the solution of“situation” problems,and the establishment of experimental teaching teams. The School of Government Management of a university in Yunnan Province has continuously explored and improved the postgraduate education model,and has achieved relevant teaching,teaching and research results. Experimental,practical training,and internship training have all achieved significant results. The results show that:a professional,efficient,and interdisciplinary teaching team has been established;“experiment for teaching,experiment for scientific research,and scientific research for teaching” have been set up,with experimental training guidance as the starting point to improve students’ innovative ability and solve practical problems;the methodological teaching system of “normative research-case and empirical research-experimental research-big data research” was constructed.
