Abstract: Along with the deepening of population ageing and the transformation of family structure and intergenerational relationships, the issue of loneliness among the disabled elderly has attracted the attention of all sectors of society. Based on data from the 2018 China Senior Health Influencing Factors Survey (CLHLS), the study used descriptive analysis and ordered multivariate logistic analysis to explore the impact of family intergenerational support on the loneliness among disabled elderly. It was found that moral and care support in intergenerational family support had a significant positive effect on reducing loneliness among the disabled elderly, but showed significant population variability in marital status, educational attainment, degree of disability and community living care services. Family factors and self-rated physical health also had a significant effect on intergenerational family support-loneliness in the study. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the home based elderly care service system; pay close attention to the spiritual needs of disabled elderly people; And increase intergenerational support for elderly people without spouses, with low levels of education and high levels of disability.
