Historical Review and Future Prospects of Wage System Reform in China’s Institutions

Abstract: The reform of the wage system of government-affiliated institutions is an important aspect of promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity. The wage system of China's institutions has undergone four major reforms in 1956,19851993 and 2006and is now gradually improving the job performance wage system. Since the 18th National CongressChina has continued to explore the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategythe implementation of a wage policy oriented to increase the value of knowledgeand the establishment of a wage system in line with the characteristics of the industry. Looking aheadthe new politicaleconomic and social situation in China has put forward new goals and requirements for deepening the reform of the wage system of government-affiliated institutions.
